Instagram Roundup July 2012

"Get Your Epic Backpacking Europe eBook Guide..."
20,000 words and 90 pages of awesome backpacking content. My best stuff in one spot. Did I mention it's completely free?

July is over and we’re well onto our way through August… so we can’t forget the Instagram Roundup of course :)

Trudy had a good friend from Australia stop by and visit. We managed to blow most of our monthly budget in Amsterdam on a numerous bottles of Spanish wine and a delicious meal of contemporary Japanese fusion… I also brought some new pants, but come on, everyone needs pants at some point and I was well over-due for some new ones!

Trudy’s father also stayed for a bit, and we managed a spontaneous trip to Brussels which was excellent.

Popping over to The Herge Museum near Brussels gave us our fill of George Remis and TinTin comic awesome-sauce. Don’t worry, much more Brussely postey goodness on the way.

July was the month when Skate Wednesday rolled off, which was definitely balcony-watching-worthy at the very least.

We’ve been here long enough to compile a plethora of Dutch bicycle photos and facts. It’s not all about the bicycles though, there are heaps of funny things that Dutch people do which is worth pointing out.

Maybe you missed the the visual eye candy tour of Mundial music festival in Tilburg.

Don’t forget to signup for the newsletter that someday very soon I’m going to start actually writing (procrastination much?). I’m even going to be sending out packs of free post cards made from our travel photos to a winner drawn monthly from the mail list.

So what about those Instagram snaps showcasing our glorious #iPhoneography action? Mine seem to feature way more pictures of beers than Trudy’s, no idea what that’s about…

My favourite is the snapshot of the skater in Brussels. He looks relaxed, and that skate park close to the flea markets was funkalicious! You can’t go past some of those golden Belgium beers though.

Trudy always manages to get a few brilliant shots of old school sailing ships, which I love.

This month and into September we’ll be traipsing around Italy… yum?
