Travel Cinemagraph Series: Golden Autumns In Europe

You know what’s awesome about Europe? THE SEASONS! Like Autumn. Golden, leafy autumn. Where leaves scatter the parks, the streets, the bicycle paths. Leaves of a hundred shades of husky yellows and ochre browns.

As much as I love the sun and beaches of Australia, nothing beats Western Europe for experiencing the four seasons in vivid ways. Don’t believe me?

I’ll go outside RIGHT NOW and take a photo from my balcony with my iPhone and put it on Instagram

See what I mean? Okay, okay, I’ll admit it’s not the best photo but you get the idea 🙂

Anyway, what am I doing? Let’s get to the good stuff – Autumn Cinemagraphs brought to you from the foresty depths of Kralingse Plas in Rotterdam!

The natural lighting works remarkably well with these Cinemgraphs. I’m really happy with this one!

Trudy being perpetually cheeky (as she is) and trying to swipe the leaves from her brother.

My treasured Sparta bicycle rests in the folds of the forest. Yes, the handlebars ARE loose and hanging oddly. I’ve since fixed them 😀

Do you love the colours of a golden Autumn?

Note: Feel free to share and use these Cinemagraphs on your own blog or website, all we ask is for a credit link back to Active Backpacker in exchange.
