Travel Video of the Week #002 – The Longest Way – Awesome Stop Motion Film
I thought we could go with a classic time lapse video for Week #002.
This one is from Christopher Rehage of TheLongestWay.com and was filmed in 2007/2008. No doubt many of you have seen this already (it went viral at one point), but it’s always worth watching again!
Making a time lapse or stop motion video would be great fun, and Trudy and I plan to do it sometime soon. Anyway, you’ll be hard pressed to beat something like this. In fact, I would find it physically impossible to do a video like this as my beard growing capabilities are unfortunately severely limited to my chin and mustache. If I grow it out I begin to look decidedly like an albino Mexican masquerading as a boyish red headed American cowboy.

I saw this video before (obviously, like you stated) and I have always love stop motion videos. I need to get better at taking footage of my travels, it just eats my memory card so fast!
Yeah stop motion videos are so awesome. We’ve been meaning to make one for ages too, but it never seems to happen haha! You definitely need a big SD card.
