How Does Yoga Help You Feel More Energized?

There are many times when mental or physical effort, stress, and absence of rest can make individuals tired. Consequently, deep inhalation, stretching the arms upwards and a forward fold with a deep exhalation afterwards. Finally the palms are placed on the ground beside the feet. It is preferred to stay in this pose for minimum of 20 seconds. This posture soothes the nerves in the body thereby calming the mind.

4. Setu Bandha Sarvangasana: This pose is also known as the bridge pose. It is a form of a gentle bend which opens the chest and the shoulder area. It also gives more support to the spine thereby strengthening the back. It is an excellent posture to get a firm back and helps to tuck shoulder blades in the back. It relaxes the entire shoulder area making the person feel absolutely energized.

5. Anjaneyasana: This asana is also known as the high lunge crescent posture. To do this take your left foot forward and bend your left knee above the ankle with the left thigh parallel to the floor. Press the right leg backwards energetically to keep it balanced. Fold your hands and raise them in the upward direction. This pose affects the breathing, calms the mind and increases concentration. It raises the energy levels of a person to a great extent.

6. Vrikshasana: This asana is also known as the tree pose. It is performed by standing straight on the yoga mat while keeping the entire body weight balanced on just the left leg. After maintaining the right balance, the subsequent step is bending the right knee while grabbing the right foot with the help of the right hand and resting the foot on the left leg. The last step is to join both the hands while keeping them in the front and balancing this yoga position for at least 20 seconds. In addition to increasing the concentration of a person, this yoga posture also helps in raising the energy levels of a person in a significant manner.
